How do I pair my brush?
A
Your Colgate Connect Smart Toothbrush connects to its app via Bluetooth so make sure that you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone settings before you open the Colgate Connect App.

To connect for the first time open up the app and follow the set up instructions to pair your toothbrush.

If you lose a connection, first check your bluetooth is on then in the Colgate Connect app, press the icon showing a toothbrush with a grey cross at the top of your screen then you can follow the instructions to reconnect.

If you still fail to connect we recommend that you re-set your Colgate Connect Smart Toothbrush by pressing the button on the front of the brush for 6 seconds until the light flashes blue. This will reset the device and you can proceed through the standard set up again.

Can I connect multiple brushes?

Want to share your Colgate Connect toothbrush with the members of your family? No problem with our Family Mode.

You can easily create a profile for every family member, simply open the profile switcher by clicking your profile picture on the Home page. Then, click on the 'Add a profile' button and enter the new profile details.

Before you brush please select the correct profile of the user. Brush using the app and your data will be stored under the correct profile.

How do I clean my toothbrush?
A
Rinse your toothbrush head thoroughly after each use. Remove the brush head from the handle and rinse it under running water.  

Regularly clean the handle and charging base of the Colgate toothbrush with a damp cloth. This is especially important if your toothpaste contains baking soda or other bicarbonates or peroxide, which causes cracking in plastic.

Do I need to have the app open every time I brush?

Our Colgate Connect Smart Toothbrush monitors your brushing even when the app isn’t open. Simply brush as normal—your 3D checkup will show you how long you brushed for and how well you covered your whole mouth the next time you open the app.
